The Georgia Mountains are re-opening! Why not visit the heart of the Georgia mountains this holiday weekend?

Which Attractions Are Open? What Can I Do?


The North Georgia Wildlife Park & Zoo
 will be open Wednesday-Monday (May 20th-25th) from 10am-5pm by reservation only. They will be offering Petting Farm Admission, Zoo Admission as well as some fun animal experiences like our Otter Experience, Sloth Experience and more! Admission and animal experience tickets can be purchased by visiting our website at www.northgeorgiazoo.com. They will also be offering a FREE Drive Thru Zoo, Thursday the 21st-Monday the 25th from 10a-5pm. More info can be found online.


Consolidated Gold Mine – Ranked the #1 thing to do in Dahlonega by Trip Advisor! Go on an underground tour or pan for gold and gemstones.

Crisson Gold Mine - Home to the only working Stamp Mill in Georgia! Fun for the whole family. Pan for gold, gemstones, and more.

Canvas and Cork will be open on Memorial Day from 11am-5pm. They will be offering a discounted Paint and Sip opportunity.  4 paint stations spaced out around the gallery to seat 2-4 people at each station.  Customers can select and paint a pre-drawn canvas and have a glass of their choice of Gin Creek Wine all for $20!

Iron Mountain Resort - Get out of the house and get the kind of "social distancing" you've been waiting on for all these weeks! MX Tracks, 4x4 trails, and regular trails are ALL OPEN this weekend.

Open for dining starting Sunday May 17th at 9am for brunch and will continue dine-in (with limited seating) & curbside options for the foreseeable future.  

Montaluce Winery & Restaurant 
Make reservations for brunch or lunch! Tastings will be done outside, featuring their new Montaluce Del Fresco menu (tuna salad, chicken salad, potato salad, etc…) New menu available with tastings only.
