Focusing on one of America’s MOST traditional music genres - mostly fiddle tunes played in the true ‘old-time’ tradition – with no ‘bluegrass’ style lead breaks and just a little bit of singing!

A very traditional 'Old Time' jam session, mostly music of course, usually hosted by the members of Whistlin Rufus, made up of Ann Whitley, Doug Singleton, and Doug & Cindy Olsen. If they can’t make it there are a number of ‘old timers’ in the area, so we’ll have someone rounded up to keep this very traditional music going for an afternoon of ‘step back in time’ music at ‘The Moon’!
