The Crimson Moon Café open's the stage to amateurs, up & coming artists alike to share their original songs in an audience judged competition for a $50 prize - and an invitation to a quarterly ‘Final Cut’ Open Mic Challenge to win their own show at the South’s most intimate music venue!

Calling All Musicians! Whether you’ve been polishing up your original tunes or working out the kinks on some cover tunes, we are here to provide a professional setting for your performance development and public exposure. Here is your chance to jump on stage, show everyone your talent, and if you really got ‘it’ we’ll make sure to reward you!

The ‘creative spirit’ friendly environment of The Crimson Moon Café is a perfect place to hone your song-crafting and performance skills. On the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month we open the stage for budding to professional songwriters to enter a competition for a $50 cash prize based on lyrics, melody, vocal / instrumental skills and overall performance ability. The competition will be both audience and management judged, with a professional sound system and sound engineer behind you. Winners will be invited back for a quarterly ‘Final Cut’ competition that will earn them a headline show at one of the premier ‘listening rooms’ in the nation! Even if you don’t make it to the final cut doesn’t mean you won’t catch the attention of one of the talent scouts that frequent our venue, so give your ‘muse’ a chance to shine… give your two song ‘vignette’ performance all you’ve got… and know you can come back for the next one if you don’t win!
