Georgia Wine Country Festival

georgia_wine_country_festivalThe 8th Annual Georgia Wine Country Festival, presented June 5th & 6th, 2010 at Three Sisters Vineyards & Winery in Dahlonega, Georgia. Attendees will sample Georgia wines from various participating wineries and enjoy unique musical entertainment by bluegrass, folk, Americana, and rock & roll musicians from the region.

Celebrating 9 years in 2010, this is Dahlonega-Lumpkin County's ORIGINAL Wine Celebration. Gold City Corral of Dahlonega will present vineyard wagon rides. Dahlonega's Fudge Factory returns with hand dipped chocolates from the tasting room.

Past vendors at the festival have included folk art, handmade items, travel and culinary, resorts and accommodations,real estate, local honey, promotional and farm exhibits, and many businesses wishing to promote connection to the active lifestyle of Georgia Wine Country. Food and beverages may be purchased inside from local Chef vendors. A silent and live charity auction will be conducted.

Festival hours are 11-6 on Saturday and 12-6 on Sunday. Daily Admission: $20 gets 21 & older (includes souvenir wine glass) $10 is the fee for designated drivers and under 21. Kids under 12 are FREE! The festival will be presented "Rain OR Shine" - under vineyard tents.
