Bear on the Square Mountain Festival Gallery

The Twelfth Annual Bear on the Square Mountain Festival showcasing bluegrass and old-time music and authentic mountain crafts, takes place April 18-20, 2008 on Dahlonega’s historic town square. Activities include non-stop jam sessions, concerts, workshops, a country auction, storytelling, dance, children’s events, and a pie contest. Produced by Bear on the Square Mountain Festival, Inc., a non-profit cultural arts organization, this celebration of authentic mountain culture is supported by its major corporate sponsor Jim Ellis Audi. Founding Sponsor is the Nick Pender family and Heritage Sponsor is folk artist Billy Roper. All outdoor events are free. For concert tickets, call 706-867-0050.
