Iron Mountain is located off of Highway 52 in Dahlonega, Georgia, in the beautiful mountains of North Georgia. They are a 4,300 acre outdoor recreation facility with 150+ miles of off-road trails to explore. Choose from side-by-side, dirt biking, ATVs, jeeps, or full 4x4 full sized vehicles.

Whether you prefer a tent, hammock, RV's, camper, or motorhome, Iron Mountain invites you to enjoy the outdoors on their beautiful land. Like their name suggests, this resort offers not only off-roading, but dry camping for RV's, Campers, and similar equipment, tents, hammock camping, and other primitive camping. A full service RV and Camper campground is planned as part of their resort (Summer/Fall 2020). Nimblewill Gap OHV Road is a 5 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Dawsonville, Georgia that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for ohv/off road driving and is accessible year-round.
The Whissenhunt OHV Trail is 11.2 miles in length with all two-way traffic trails, except for two motorcycle trails. The trails are suitable for motorcycles and ATVs. The trail system is approximately 6.0 miles north of Dahlonega, GA. Users are required to stay on the signed trails to prevent damage to the surrounding resources. Whissenhunt hours of operation are from sunrise to sunset. A slight fee is required to ride on this trail system.
