Want to try something new this Thanksgiving?

Dahlonega’s Savoring the Square Food Tour offers a unique opportunity to experience both the food and culture of North Georgia. This tour will captivate you with visits to our finest restaurants and tasting rooms.

End the night with a stroll through downtown Dahlonega to admire the beautiful autumn colors and stop by Crimson Moon for some Open Mic, hosted by Jacob Elliott.

Dahlonega's Old Fashioned Christmas

Also kicking off the day after Thanksgiving is Dahlonega’s Old-Fashioned Christmas. Old Fashioned Christmas is a month-long celebration from November 29 through the first week of January, set in motion with the lighting of the square. The Travel Channel agrees, Dahlonega looks straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie!

This year, Dahlonega will have more events than ever before. Enjoy a live nativity, “high tea” Tuesdays, a Christmas Market, holiday concerts, tree decorating, carriage rides, parades, caroling, "A Christmas Story", and more. Enjoy the beauty of Dahlonega’s twinkling Christmas lights and decorations through January 12th. (For more information, visit DahlonegaChristmas.com.)
